Kalid brings nearly 25 years of experience helping government and commercial clients achieve mission-critical objectives to his role at Aquia.

His experience runs the gamut, including engineering, project and program management, financial management, business strategy, and more. Nearly half his career has been spent internationally, having worked for several years out of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Most notably, he was the lead on deploying the first private cell phone network in post-war Iraq.

He grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, where he currently resides. He is the father of two teenagers and a terrier named Oreo. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, working in his woodshop, and endlessly scrolling through used car listings for his next project.
